1) Q... Why do I get email from Talent in la?
A...You requested to be notified when you get an email marked "urgent" in your profile page you can DESELECT that. TOP


2) Q... Why are my images being re-sized?
A... Our system has a limit of 640X480 pixels (vertical and horizontal side of the image) and 60k per image. Use JPG with a compression of between 55% to %80 for the best possible quality.And if you have any problem regarding this and need some assistance please feel free to email us your pictures and we will take it from thereTOP

3) Q...Why am I having problems uploading images from my MAC?
A... If you are using MAC you must use Netscape Communicator 6.0 of higher
PC-windows with Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher. TOP

4) Q...Why can't I upload images?
A... If you have 10 pictures already in your pictures page then you can not upload and more unless you delete some of your pictures from your pictures page.TOP

5) Q... How do I apply for talent of the month?
A... By submitting your profile you will become eligible for contestants entry, The talents are picked by "members only" and voted by "members"
and the highest will be selected from the vote.TOP

6) Q... How do I upload my images to my profile?
A... Please do the followings:
1) login to the Talent in la.com
2) click-on My Pictures
3) click-on Brows button 1, 2, 3,...
4) remember you need at least 3 pictures other wise you will be rejected by the system. TOP

7) Q... Why do I not see a picture/s with my portfolio?
A... The picture/s that you have uploaded was corrupted or somehow it did not upload please try uploading again and/or refresh the page.
And if you still have problem please let our webmasters know and we will be on top of it ASAP.TOP

8) Q... I have Trouble editing my profile?
A... Best thing is to restart your browser and try again and if you still have problem editing reboot your computer.TOP

9) Q... Some of my pictures show up fuzzy or blurry when I'm using AOL?
A... When you are using AOL pictures may appear fuzzy an blurry. This is because AOL has its own compression method which causes the distortion of the images Best Solution ( Highly Recommended) While still connected to the Internet, minimize AOL and use an alternate browser (Internet Explorer or Netscape) to view the pictures.TOP

10) Q... Why is my portfolio blocked?
A... If you misuse our system in any way your profile will be disabled or it might even be canceled with IP banned from our site make sure to read Talent in LA policies and procedures.TOP

11) Q... How do I Disable my Profile?
A... Well you can disable your profile for as long as you like, that means no one can see your profile unless you choose to enable it.TOP

12) Q... I am asked to re-login?
A... Please do the following:
1) the defaults of the your browser preferences have been changed and you will need to turn it on by going to "Accept Cookies" to ON.
2) Deleting the temporary files is a capability all browsers have and this will free up disk space and swap memory.
3) Your browser install has become corrupt and you may need to reinstall your browser.
4)Your browser may be an older version browser. Make sure that you have the latest versionTOP

A... Please do the following.

1) Please log in to Talent in LA.com
2).Click on the "MyAcoount.
3.On very bottom click on the "Cancel My Account".
4. For confirmation you will be asked "if you are sure" then if you are click yes.

15) Q... What do I do when I get bothered or harassed by one of the members?
A... Please do the followings:

1) Click on My email
2) In you in-box folder click on the subject massage to read.
3) Click on the " Block this member"
4) If you are being harassed please forward the email to us we will take care of the rest.
